Han Sen watched for a while, then turned his attention back to the Firetail Butterflies. He collected the gold Core Lights inside the Cruel Bottle and killed all the butterflies he encountered.
These were all good items, and he'd be able to use them to level up his four self geno cores to gold.
The Firetail Butterfly King screamed, and it gave up on Meowth to go after Han Sen. Meowth was too slow, and it couldn't catch up with the butterfly king.
Han Sen summoned Meowth back and threw it back at the butterfly king. There was an explosion, and Meowth was blown away. The butterfly king's attack was nullified.
The butterfly king looked as if it had locked onto Han Sen, and it kept coming for him. Han Sen had Meowth as his trump card, so he could stay alive. But he didn't have the energy to collect the gold Core Lights.
Seeing Han Sen fail, the butterfly king seemed to have a mind of its own. It turned around and went for the weakest of the three, Elysian Moon.
Normally, Elysian Moon would have been stronger than Zhuo Dong Lai. But her body had not yet fully recovered, so she was much weaker than Zhuo Dong Lai. She was able to dodge the butterfly king's attack, but she couldn't dodge the next one.
Pang!
Han Sen threw Meowth at her again, and when Meowth hit the butterfly king, it caused another explosion. The shockwave sent Elysian Moon flying ten meters away.
"You guys go! I'll hold it off!" Han Sen shouted at Zhuo Donglai and Elysian Moon.
Zhuo Donglai and Elysian Moon knew there was no point in staying. They'd only be a burden to Han Sen, so they ran out of the bamboo forest.
"We'll wait for you near the Geno Core Tablet. Don't go near it," Elysian Moon shouted at Han Sen.
"Okay, I'll be there soon," Han Sen said. He picked up Meowth and threw it at the butterfly king, which was still chasing after Elysian Moon.
After dealing with the butterfly king, Elysian Moon and Zhuo Donglai disappeared into the bamboo forest. A group of Firetail Butterflies chased after them, but they were just ordinary butterflies.
After Elysian Moon left, the butterfly king vented its anger on Han Sen.
Fortunately, Han Sen had Meowth as a meat shield, so he didn't have to be afraid of the butterfly king. While Han Sen fought the butterfly king, he used his Bulwark Umbrella to destroy many of the Golden Firetail Butterflies.
He didn't have time to put the Gold Core Light into the Cruel Bottle, so he let the Bulwark Umbrella absorb it. The Gold Core Light entered the Bulwark Umbrella, and it made it stronger.
Han Sen also noticed something interesting. Firetail Butterfly King was strong, but every time it collided with Meowth, the blue flames would scatter, and its power would be weakened. Although it was only a small amount, and if one didn't look closely, one wouldn't be able to tell that the butterfly king had become weaker. But it was definitely weaker than it was now.
After so many collisions, it was obvious that it had become much weaker.
"Maybe I have a chance to kill this Firetail Butterfly King!"
Han Sen was excited. He let Meowth fight the butterfly king, and he killed the ordinary butterflies to collect their Geno Core Lights.
Bulwark Umbrella quickly absorbed one hundred Geno Core Lights, and it started to break through.
Because Full Geno Cores were connected to one's self, Bulwark Umbrella absorbed a lot of Geno Core Lights. Inside Han Sen's body, the Dongxuan Sutra was on the verge of a breakthrough.
Han Sen knew that if the Dongxuan Sutra broke through, the umbrella would become gold. But Han Sen didn't do that. He suppressed the Dongxuan Sutra and prevented it from leveling up.
Bulwark Umbrella had only just become silver, and it hadn't been strengthened nine times yet. Leveling it up now would be a waste. So, Han Sen suppressed the Dongxuan Sutra's leveling up.
After absorbing one hundred Gold Core Lights, there was no point in absorbing more. He didn't want to strengthen the umbrella any further.
Han Sen summoned his Crystal Core and allowed it to continue absorbing the Gold Core Lights. As Han Sen absorbed the Gold Core Lights, he felt his Jadeskin grow. It was on the verge of leveling up, too. But Han Sen suppressed it.
Because there were too many butterflies, there were still many Geno Core Lights that had yet to be absorbed. But Han Sen didn't dare summon Coin or Real Blood to absorb them.
They were only bronze geno cores, so if they absorbed the gold Core Light, they'd be able to level up right away.
Suddenly, the Firetail Butterfly King shrieked, and the group of butterflies scattered in all directions. The Firetail Butterfly King itself rushed into the bamboo forest.
Han Sen wasn't going to let it escape, though. It was a super Geno Battle Soul, and he wasn't going to let it go.
Han Sen didn't bother killing the ordinary butterflies, though. He chased after the butterfly king.
Firetail Butterfly King had been fighting Meowth for a long time, and its power had been weakened. Han Sen used his phoenix techniques to chase after it, but he couldn't shake it off.
Han Sen was using Meowth like a cannonball. He chased after Firetail Butterfly King and threw Meowth at it. If the butterfly dodged, Han Sen would close the distance between them. If it didn't dodge, Meowth would hit it.
After a few times, the butterfly king was enraged. It turned back to Han Sen, and it wanted to kill Han Sen.
Han Sen didn't want to fight it, though. He wanted to use Meowth to wear down the creature's power. After a day and a night of fighting, Firetail Butterfly King's power was almost depleted. Han Sen punched it, and it blew up.
When Firetail Butterfly King's body was broken, it wasn't a Geno Core Light that appeared. Instead, it was a red crystal. It wasn't just a light, though; it was solid.
Han Sen reached out his hand and picked up the crystal. Then, he heard a voice in his head.
"Firetail Butterfly Geno Core obtained."
"Is this a geno core?
It's not a geno core light? "Han Sen was surprised, as this was not what he had expected.
Han Sen looked at the geno core information, and he was confused.

"What does that mean?"
Han Sen frowned. He had never seen a geno core that was broken before, but he had never seen one that was broken before.
What made Han Sen even more curious was that he couldn't use the Firetail Butterfly Geno Core. He didn't know why that was the case.
Han Sen didn't have time to study it, though. He just wanted to chase after Elysian Moon and Zhuo Donglai.
After chasing them for half a day, he still hadn't seen them. Perhaps it was because Han Sen had been chasing the butterfly king for a long time, and he was going in a different direction.
Han Sen didn't know where the butterflies had gone, and he didn't see a single one. After three days, he heard a sound that sounded like a harp coming from the bamboo forest.
